The first New York outpost of Seoul-based hospitality group Glow Seoul, it imports the meditative logic of the Korean hot spring bathhouse — jjimjilbang as design philosophy — into a proper sit-down room. Booths face large screens cycling through snowy Korean countryside footage, water features run underneath the ambient noise, and steam drifts through the space with apparent intention. The design commitment reads as genuine rather than decorative, built around the idea that people in Manhattan might actually want to slow down inside a restaurant and feel it. The menu centers on Hansik — Korean food understood as nourishment philosophy — and the dishes Oncheon is known for reward that framing. The Bulgogi Gujeolpan arrives in a lacquered octagonal box, with jeon at the center surrounded by precise matchsticks of vegetable, egg, and seasoned bulgogi; it is reportedly one of the most visually deliberate plates in the neighborhood right now.
