Had dinner at Bar Accanto last night and it was excellent. Started off our meal with the tuna Crudo and the beef tartare in both were delicious, very fresh ingredients and well balanced bites. We then had the halloumi and heirloom tomato salad with an herb gazpacho and boy was this good. It might’ve been my favourite bite of the meal, very bright and fresh flavors. We were then served gnocchi, which is always our favorite. No better mushroom gnocchi in the city. Then we had the Lam and although this was not my favourite bite, it was still a unique dish. Finished our meal with the chocolate tart, and it was the perfect bite of decadence to end the meal, the toffee sponge is a nice textural edition. Fantastic service throughout. Will be coming back.

Ordered the beef tartare, halloumi salad, lamb, and mushroom gnocchi. Everything was excellent, the food is fantastic and likely the best in Winnipeg. Worth coming back to, definitely the right place for date night, and excellent occasions.
